“Every Champion was once a contender who refused to give up” The aforesaid stands true for our talented basketball player Alina Singh. She participated in the Uttarakhand Basketball Camp held in Parade Ground, Dehradun. The camp was a warm up session, where all the team members got the chance to know each other better. This was followed by “72nd Junior National Basketball Championship ” held at Bangalore. The Uttarakhand team left an indelible mark by giving an exemplary performance by defeating the teams from Nagaland and Assam. While the spot in the finals evaded us but we are extremely proud of Alina for the strides she has made in the sport.
