IIT-Bombay GATE 2021: Check result release date and time and expected cutoff

IIT Bombay GATE 2021 has been concluded successfully on 14 February 2021 with a 78% attendance. Exams held for a total of 27 subjects in 616 centers and the result was declared on 22 March 2021 on the official GATE 2021 website.

Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering (Gate 2021)

 ( GATE )  It is a national  entrance examination  which is completely Computer Based Test ( CBT ) managed by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and seven Indian institute of Technology Bombay , Delhi , Madras , Roorkee , Kanpur , Guwahati , Kharagpur on behalf of National Control Board (NCB) GATE , Ministry of Education ( MoE ), Department of Higher Education and the Government of India.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay is the organizing institute for GATE 2021. Graduate aptitude test in engineering is crucial for the aspirants who want to top MTech colleges and PSU’s. GATE is a mandatory examination for anyone seeking admission or financial help for postgraduate programmes like Masters and Doctoral with Ministry of Education and other Govt scholarships. It is the criteria  followed by the institute for giving admissions to candidates. GATE score is also widely used by some other public sector undertakings for their recruitment process and it is also widely accepted by various universities in India as well as abroad for giving admission. GATE scores are valid for upto 3 year from the date of announcement of result. 

The main focus for The GATE exam is to test  the comprehensive understanding and knowledge of candidates in various undergraduate subjects like Engineering , Technology , Architecture and postgraduate subjects like arts , commerce and science and best schools like schools in Dehradun start early competetive prepration for students so that they selected in top IIT’s. There were a total of 27 subjects that GATE 2021 have conducted. GATE 2021 examination was conducted over a period of  6 days and 12 sessions on 5th Feb , 6th feb , 7th feb ,12th feb , 13th feb and  last exam is on 14th of February 2021.

The GATE 2021 examination conducted in various cities across India as well as 6 cities outside India ( Note that International centres for GATE-2021 were only to be conducted if the COVID-19 situation eases and travel and other restrictions are relaxed otherwise the GATE-2021 in international centres were to be ” CANCELLED ” ).

GATE score would reflect the performance level of the candidate in a particular subject and the all papers of GATE exams are entirely objective type like most of the questions will be either Multiple Choice Questions, Multiple Selective Questions or the Numerical Answer type and the most importantly there was no age limit for appearing in exams. 

The GATE 2021 exams were held successfully and in a release mentioned that there were 27 subjects exams held in 616 exams centres in more than 200 cities all over the world and exams were concluded with the average of 78% attendance as a total of  8,82,684 candidates had applied for the GATE 2021. 

The result for the GATE 2021 exams will be declared on 22nd of March 2021 on the official website of IIT GATE gate.iitb.ac.in.  and the  GATE 2021 cutoff (which is the minimum number of scores you require to get admission for post graduate programmes ) will be declared alongside each subject results.
