NATA 2021 registration is expected to start from the first week of March 2021 and exams are anticipated on 10 April for the first exam and 12 June 2021 for the second exam. Official Important dates of NATA 2021 will soon be released on the NATA website.
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is an entrance exam conducted in India by the Council of Architecture ( CoA ) This eligibility test is for students who have passed out class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and are looking for admission in Undergraduate Programmes in Architecture like Bachelor of Architecture which is a 5 years programme, only students with a valid NATA score are eligible for admission in B.Arch offered by various institutes across the country. Schools in Dehradun prepare their class 11 and 12 students for competitive exams in advance so that they do well in the exams.NATA 2021 will be a computer-based examination over different centres in the country and due to coronavirus pandemic there will be proper Covid safety protocols, candidates are required to wear masks and avoid gatherings and maintain social distancing in the exam centres.
NATA exams are held twice a year and students have been given the freedom to book one or both exams according to their preferences. The date for NATA 2021 has been announced for both tests by the Council of Architecture ( CoA ) The first test will be on 10 April 2021 whereas the second test will be on 12 June 2021. Note that the official website of NATA has not released any updates regarding NATA 2021 However the Council of Architecture (CoA) will soon update the key dates and official brochure on their official website.
Registration for the first, as well as the second test of NATA 2021, are expected to start from the first week of March 2021 and the registrations for NATA 2021 will come to an end in the last week of March 2021 for the first test whereas the second test registration will conclude in the last week of May 2021. Admit cards are expected to be issued in the first week of April for the 1st Test and the first week of June 2021 for the 2nd Test. About NATA 2021 exams –
The main focus of NATA 2021 exams is to check the observation skills, Drawing skills of the applicants. Other abilities to be checked are the sense of proportion and artistic sensitivity. Additionally, the NATA exam paper comprises topics of 12 class PCM which is Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
NATA 2021 Eligibility Criteria-
Council of Architecture ( CoA ) have specified minimum eligibility criteria for the students who are seeking admission for the B.Arch 5 year undergraduate Programme. The eligibility criteria are as follow :
- Participants must have pass class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects.
- Participants who have completed 10+3 year of Diploma with Mathematics are also eligible for admission in NATA 2021
- No minimum marks are set for the candidates of 10+2 level for registration of NATA 2021
