US President Donald Trump and the first lady Melania Trump have tested positive for Coronavirus and are now in quarantine. This news came out through a tweet posted by the president himself. The tweet posted by Donald Trump said that he and his wife had been tested positive for Coronavirus, and they will begin their quarantine and recovery process soon. He further wrote that “We will get through this together”. The president is in the high-risk group as his age is 74 years.
This happened after one of his closest aides Hope hicks tested positive for Coronavirus. The 31-year-old advisor to the president was the closest aide to Donald Trump to test positive as of now.
Ms. Hicks travelled with Mr. Trump on Air Force One to the first presidential TV debate with Democratic rival Joe Biden in Ohio this Tuesday. Some of the family members of Donald Trump, who attended the discussion were not wearing masks.
Mr. Trump himself has not been seen wearing masks or following social distancing norms with his aides or others during any gathering or official meetings.
Mr. Trump physician, Sean Conley released a statement saying that both the president and the first lady are well and they are planning to remain at their home during this time. The statement further stated that Mr. Trump would be carrying out his duties without disruption. Any further updates would be announced as and when required.

Mr. and Mrs. Trump were going into quarantine.
The second presidential debate is scheduled on 15 Oct in Miami, Florida, and it is not clear how the arrangement for the discussion would be affected after Mr. Trump tested positive.
