On the 22nd of October, 2015, Ecoliers’ celebrated Dussehra with much enthusiasm and passion. There was a fete organized for the girls wherein there were a lot of games and food stalls put up. Each house had one stall where they organized various games with exciting prizes to be won. The girls relished different types of food preparations viz a viz special chaat, pizza, chowmein, dosa, idli, etc.
Our President Mr Amarjeet Juneja, Director Mr Tarunjyot Juneja, Principal Mrs Brinda Ghosh, Vice Prinicipal Mrs Sonal Rawat and all staff members were present to celebrate the festival in the school campus. The ‘Ravana’ put up in the campus portrayed social evil, corruption, dowry and negativity which had to end ultimately. Significance of Dussehra festival, also called as Vijayadashmi, was portrayed well by our girls with a small ‘Ram Leela’ performance. The message of triumph of virtue over sin or immorality was put forth amongst everyone. Later in the evening, ‘Ravana’ was lit at 1800 hours which was followed by a massive celebration. The end of Ravana meant end of bad and evil spirit. Celebration of joy and victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahisasura was well depicted and understood by our girls.
The girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It was an evening well spent.

आज दिनांक 22 अक्टूबर 2015 को एकोल  ग्लोबाल इंटरनेशनल गर्ल्स स्कूल में दशहरे के उपलक्ष्य में स्कूल मेले तथा रामलीला का मंचन का आयोजन किया गया | छात्राओं ने रामलीला समापन पर रावण के पुतले का दहन किया | बुराई पर अच्छाई की जीत के इस पर्व को मनाने के लिये बच्चों में विशेष उत्साह रहा | स्कूल में बनाए रावण के पुतले में सामाजिक बुराईयां, भ्रष्टाचार, बाल अपराध, रिश्वतखोरी, दहेज प्रथा, कन्या भूर्ण हत्या आदि को दर्शाया गया | राम बनी छात्रा ने बाण चलाकर इन सभी बुराइयों को जलाकर उनका  अंत किया | इस अवसर पर प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती वृंदा घोष ने कहा कि ऐसे आयोजनों से जहां बच्चों को उनकी संस्कृति से रूबरू होने का मौका मिलता है तो वहीं, बुराई पर अच्छाई की जीत के संदेश को भली –भांति समझ सकते हैं तथा साथ ही उप प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती सोनल रावत ने सभी को दशहरे की बधाई दी | इस मौके पर विद्यालय ने बच्चों के लिये एक स्कूली मेले का भी आयोजन किया गया | मेले का मुख्य आकर्षण अलग अलग तरह के देशी और स्वदेशी दुकानें थी, जिनमें चाट, डोसा, पिज्जा, चाऊमीन, आदि की दुकानें सजायी गई थी | बच्चों ने मेले का बहुत आंनद उठाया | प्रबंधन समीति के अध्यक्ष श्री अमरजीत जुनेजा, निर्देंशक श्री तरुण जुनेजा  ने बच्चों के साथ मेले का आनंद उठाया और यह मेला बहुत धूमधाम और हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया |
