Baisakhi was celebrated with great joy on the 14th of April. Morning began with the keertan in the assembly and a talk on the significance of the day. It is a happy coincidence that Ecole’s Birthday falls on the auspicious day so the mandatory cake cutting added to the exuberance. After the Folk song competition the girls went back, changed into Indian or Western formals and came back for the Fete. They enjoyed a vast spread of delectable fare and game stalls.
