Ms. Prakriti and Ms. Ananya attended the Capacity Building Programme on Experiential Learning organised by CBSE at S.N Memorial School Bhauwala on 30th and 31st January 2023. The resource person was Mr. J.C Pant and the session was conducted by Ms Pooja Sharma, Vice Principal DPS Rudrapur. The objective of the program was to imbue teachers with the necessary pedagogical tools so that they engage the students in ‘learning by doing’ and make them reflect on the experiences. They explained about KOLB cycle of learning and the three domains of Bloom’s taxonomy. The merits of experiential learning by way of supporting deep learning was understood by all. Techniques like reading and experimenting to role-play and discussions were shared and deliberated upon. T he workshop was a very fruitful experience for the teachers.
