Mr. Mahendra Kunthwal, faculty of Economics is a key figure in the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT. He showcased his three-year involvement in developing educational kits for Economics during an orientation program in Dehradun on February 22, 2024. As a Resource Person, he engaged 46 participants, primarily teachers from the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) and teacher educators from District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET). Mr. Mahendra’s session focused on the creation of captivating games, models, and hands-on activities aimed at enriching the study of Economics. Notable features included a comic book titled ‘Story of Money’ and a KAVAD Book on Minimum Support Price (MSP). The program, chaired by officials from SCERT and NCERT Delhi, highlighted the significance of innovative pedagogical strategies in elevating the quality of education nationwide.
