On 20 th April 11 students of the Ecole Globale participated in the International Francophone Day at The Doon School. There were 4 competitions – Francophonie Quiz, Spell Bee competition, French Solo Song & French Poetry Recitation.
Piyanshi Pandey bagged the first position in the French Solo Singing Competition. Her flawless pronunciation and captivating stage presence was much appreciated.
Anais Bhullar showed excellent knowledge and command of French spelling throughout the Spell Bee competition, impressing the judges with her accuracy and speed.
Gayatri Kapoor showcased her linguistic talent in French language by participating in the French poetry recitation competition.
Alankrita Rathore, Ananya Gangdev, Mynah Gupta, and Samadrita Roy showcased their French language expertise by participating in the French Quiz competition .The competition featured a range of challenging questions on French language, literature, and culture.
The team came back to school with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and a greater appreciation for the importance of learning a foreign language in this increasingly globalized world.
