The Inter House English Debate was a battle of wits in Parliamentary style over two days . Our seasoned debaters used logic and cogent reasoning to give their point of view on the topic. Using data, statistics, quotes and anecdotes they supported their side of the motion. Both the Government and Opposition gave forceful arguments supported with powerpacked rebuttals. The audience enjoyed the verbal jousting. Ignis House won the debate
English Quiz
On 28th April the Inter House English Quiz was hosted by the English Department. The quiz was conducted by Ms Sperdha and each House team comprised four members representing members from Middle School and Senior school. The questions were a mix of literature, entertainment, grammar, vocabulary and verbal reasoning. The participants worked brilliantly as a team and answered each question with great care as some also carried negative marking. Their effort was evident all through. There were some questions for the audience too. What made the quiz interesting was that each answer was supported with interesting trivia.
