    Students of Ecole Globale International Girls’ School Start ‘Say No to Plastic Drive’

    25 September 2019, Dehradun: As one of the schools in Dehradun, Ecole Globale convey the message of saving the planet and making it more eco-friendly. The students of classes 7 and 8 of Ecole Globale International Girls’ School made more than 500 paper bags using old newspapers and distributed them to the local vendors and shopkeepers of Horrawalla village.

    Also, the students explained the need to substitute plastic bags with eco-friendly paper bags.The activity aimed at creating awareness about the harmful effects of plastic bags among the local shopkeepers and encouraging them to use paper bags . The activity also highlighted the fact that the students can bring a positive change in saving the environment

    This project was a part of our Community Service. Ecoliers are taught to be proactive and make a difference wherever they are . This project is one measure in that direction .”
