The 11th Annual Terry Fox Run was organized by the Indo Canadian Cancer Research Foundation on Friday, 14th April at The Doon School, Dehradun. Popularly known as the “Marathon of Hope” it reminds everyone not to bow down to hard times and challenges of life. 25 Ecoliers participated in the run and learnt about an inspirational young man who overcame medical adversities including leg amputation caused by his osteosarcoma (a type of bone cancer). He went on to realize his dream and, in the process, gave hope to innumerable cancer patients.
