The Inter House Western Music Competition was held on Wednesday, 3rd May. It was a delightful afternoon which soaked us all in the strains of country music. The girls from each of the four Houses belted popular numbers like Blowing in the wind, Hey Jude, Knocking on Heaven’s door, Country roads take me home. The Guest Judge of the event was Mr Sharon Russel. He’s an Indian Cowboy who graduated from the CMAA academy of County Music Australia. He is a singer, song writer and a live performer. He performed ‘Rhinestone Cowboy’ and ‘Hotel California’ to thunderous applause.
