The IAYP students participated in a comprehensive First Aid workshop on April 28th, facilitated by the School Infirmary. The session commenced with an elucidation of the essential contents of a First Aid box, followed by a hands-on redemonstration by the girls themselves. They received crucial insights into managing allergies, insect bites, and burns/scalds, alongside instructions on the six vital steps for effective handwashing. Additionally, they learned essential skills such as checking pulse, administering BLS-CPR, and applying dressing with crepe and roll bandages. Brief guidance on maintaining proper menstrual hygiene was also provided. The session proved highly informative, empowering these students to serve as ambassadors for disseminating this vital knowledge to others.
